SSFL Championship Crew at the Citrus Bowl
2010
Information
The
minor league seasons will commence in January of 2010. We
will be servicing two minor league programs in 2010 with a
total of 33 teams throughout Florida and teams in Georgia
and South Carolina. Each league plays on Saturday's and/or
Sunday's utilizing NFL rules with minor amendments.
Fifteen
crew chiefs will be utilized with crew members of six. Seven
man crews will be utilized in two leagues and six man crews
in one. Each crew will also have a traveling ECO.
In
order to be considered for membership with the minor league
group, applicants must meet or exceed the following requirements.
1.
A minimum of seven years (7) documented varsity high school
experience. College or previous minor league experience is
a +.
2.
A completed medical questionaire.
3.
Succesful passing of a criminal background check.
4.
Submission of an application for membership.

5.
Attendance at the 2009-2010 workshop
6. Satisfactory grade on the 2009 NFL rules/ mechanics examination
7.
Ability to be available on Saturday's with an understanding
that travel is involved that may include
overnight stay's.
7.
Registration approval from the Supervisor of Officials and
director of football operations.
SICOA
will be taking over the administration of all minor league
programs in 2010. Each league may have their own officials
association in which all members will be a part of and participate
in. There will be no seperate meetings or workshops for officials
to attend other than the 2010 workshop sponsored by SICOA.
A 2009-2010
application form will be available after September 1st. All
officials will be responsible to complete this form for membership
consideration. However, there are no assurances of game assignments
to any official. Assignments are based on crew location, availability,
ability and game schedules.
