2010 - 2011
Information
The
minor league seasons will commence in January of 2011. We
will be servicing four minor league programs in 2011 with a
total of 24 teams throughout Florida. Each league plays on Saturday's and/or
Sunday's utilizing NFL rules with minor amendments.
Thirteen
crew chiefs will be utilized with crew members of seven. Each crew will also have a traveling ECO. Officials in south Florida, the Florida east and west coasts and the Ocala / Gainesville area are encouraged to apply.
Game fees are paid, in cash, to game officials at the venues prior to the opening kick-off.
In
order to be considered for membership with the minor league
group, applicants must meet or exceed the following requirements.
1.
A minimum of seven years (7) documented varsity high school
experience. College or previous minor league experience is
a +.
2.
A completed medical questionaire.
3.
Successful passing of a criminal background check.
4.
Submission of an application for membership.

Attendance at the 2010 workshop
6. Satisfactory grade on the 2010 NFL rules/ mechanics examination
7.
Ability to be available on Saturday's with an understanding
that travel is involved that may include
overnight stay's.

Registration approval from the Supervisor of Officials, Minor League Vice-President and the area / regional supervisors.
SICOA
will be taking over the administration of all minor league
programs in 2011. Each league may have their own officials
association in which all members will be a part of and participate
in. There will be no separate meetings or workshops for officials
to attend other than the 2010 workshop sponsored by SICOA.
A 2010 - 2011
application form is now available. All
officials will be responsible to complete this form for membership
consideration. However, there are no assurances of game assignments
to any official. Assignments are based on crew location, availability,
ability and game schedules. Any official that applies and is accepted but due to geographical restraints cannot physically travel to designated venues within reasonable proximity will have their registration fee promptly refunded,
